Covid cases in India: There has been spotting once again in the Covid-19 cases in India. In the last three weeks, cases of Kovid-19 infection are continuously coming to the fore. Last week, 1898 new corona cases were registered in Pramana. Although, the total number of cases is still very less, but the figures of increase in corona cases are definitely alerting.

The week ending last Sunday saw an increase of 63 percent in corona cases. While it saw a growth of 39 percent in the previous week and 13 percent before that. Most of the new cases have been reported in South India and Maharashtra.

no increase in death
This increase in corona cases is being seen at a time when flu cases have been seen rapidly in the country in recent times. Meanwhile, it is a matter of relief that there has been no increase in the death rate. However, testing has been very low and needs to be increased.

According to statistics, last week 1898 new corona virus infection cases were registered in the country. In its first two weeks, 1163 and 839 cases were registered respectively. This number is not very much now but if it continues to increase in this way then there will be cause for concern.

Cases increasing since 5 weeks
In the cases of Corona, even though the account is being drawn for 3 weeks, but in reality this number is increasing continuously for 5 weeks. A slight increase was observed in the first two weeks. This is the longest pandemic crisis since the Corona wave in July last year. In 2022, between 18 and 25 July, 1.4 lakh corona cases were registered. Since then, barring three short periods of more than two weeks, there was a steady decline in COVID cases. The weekly corona case reached 707 during January 23-29 this year.

In the latest data from 27 February 2023 to 5 March, a large number are from South India and Maharashtra. The highest number of 473 cases were registered in Karnataka. After this, 410 cases were registered in Kerala and 287 in Maharashtra.
